Introduction to Translated Version
A complete set of technical standards has been built on a wealth of experience accumulated in the construction of port & waterway engineering for the past decades of China’s development. And a part of the current Chinese standards have been translated into English.
Code for Design of Automated Container Terminals (JTS/T 174-2019) is part of the standard system and shall be used in conjunction with other relevant standards. In the meantime, compliance with this code does not exempt its user from any liability arises.
The translation of this Code is organized by Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport, PRC and undertaken by CCCC Third Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd. If any different interpretation arises in English version, the Chinese version shall prevail. The Water Transport Bureau of the Ministry of Transport is in charge of the administration and explanation of the Chinese version.

经过几十年的发展，中国的水运工程建设积累了丰富的经验，同时也建立了一套完整的技术标准体系。部分现行的中国标准已经被翻译成了英文版。
《自动化集装箱码头设计规范》（JTS/T 174-2019）是技术标准体系中的一部分，应与其他相关标准配套使用。同时，使用本规范不意味着自动免除使用者应负的责任。
本规范的翻译工作由交通运输部水运局组织，中交第三航务工程勘察设计院有限公司承办。如对英文版本的表述有不同的理解时，以中文版为准。交通运输部水运局负责对中文版本的解释。
